Gaia is a theory devised in the sixties by James Lovelock that describes an idea that the earth’s ecology rests in a balance and is used here as a metaphor for the challenge humans face when trying to co-exist with their environment.
In June 2010 I finished working as a voluntary communications officer for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) South Pacific office in Fiji – a six month position.
This blog documents my time in Fiji exploring modern conservation, something that was largely new to me.
